It’s been a week here in Underland, we’re watching Celia’s mother’s puppy and the poor cats are traumatized. The little one just wants to play, and they all want to have absolutely nothing to do with her. She’s adorable, but boy does she have a lot of energy, early in the morning and non-stop until night time. I think the two of us like a quieter life than a puppy allows, give me an old dog any day.
On my end I’m starting to look for work in Thailand. Celia has a pretty big job waiting for her, so now I’m trying to find my place. It’s a bit overwhelming, I’ve worked retail jobs for a long time, but now I’m trying to find something a bit more fulfilling. It’s strange and amazing to be starting over again. Especially in a new country. We’re living in the in-between time right now, which is beautiful because we have each other, but it’s really not what our life is going to look like longterm.
Well, I guess that’s what I have for this week. I’m sure I’ll get better at this, but give me a blank page and an open ended prompt and, well, here it is. I’m hoping the dog sleeps a bit tomorrow morning because it was a very unceremonious start to the day and I’d prefer not to have my head jumped on again.
Until next week
